Tropical fun!

The weather played ball for Saffie's tropical party (who wants that theme in the pouring rain?!), the sun shined but it was a tad windy which proved a tricky table setup but I was so happy with the look :)

Tropical vibes, flamingos and 'we absolutely MUST have cocktails glasses' were the order of the day, so I started with the invitations and worked from there.

It was such a fun theme with tropical leaves, balloon garlands and I even sprayed some pineapples with gold paint! #lovinglife #goldpineapples

I finished up with the cake - a vanilla sponge with passionfruit curd (homemade, natch!) and pineapple buttercream all decorated with aqua icing, hot pink drizzle and lots of edible yumminess on top. I even made my own glitter topper.
